Thanks to everyone who played and rated Pellet!
--V1.1.1 Patch Notes--
Bigger features:
- Quick-start mode - start at any level you've reached previously (PS - pressing 'U' on the starting screen will unlock all levels.)
- Snake AI has been adjusted to be substantially more helpful for catching bugs.
- Bugs and bullets are now animated.
- Arrow key Support
Smaller tweaks:
- SFX and music has been audio-balanced better.
- 2nd and 3rd snake start with additional segments.
- Moth's 'pre-shoot' effect is slightly more pronounced.
- Various hitboxes have been adjusted (mostly in the player's favor)
- Performance of snake's pathfinding has been improved to reduce lag at higher levels.
- Snake speed has been increased at lower levels.
- One snake speed increase level has been replaced with a bullet speed boost level (this was already happening, just not mentioned to the player)
- Level timers have been slightly reduced (since the snake is nicer and faster now).
- The number of bugs spawned has been slightly increased at various levels. The maximum number of bugs after reaching level 15 has been increased.
- Tips show in a set order to better tutorialize the player.
- Moved the red 'next level hint' text so that it is doesn't obscure the playing field. It lasts slightly longer.
- Score increases smoothly instead of only in one-second intervals.
- The 'full clear bonus' text is now visible (I accidentally hid it behind the 'next level hint' text - did you notice? Drove me nuts all week)
- Reskinned the music button (it was literally the default Godot button since multiple music tracks was a last-hour addition)
